Dusty Norris was born and raised in a small backwards town camden alabama. Tattooing has been a love of his since very early on, “ I can remember getting my first tattoo from cw when i was eighteen somehow the universe brought us together-he made me hold the phone… he said if it rings answer “tattoo shop” and the rest is history.”  After that he dropped out of college because of the direction he was going. He bummed around a bit hardly ever keeping a real job, mainly doing odd jobs, whatever he could get. As the years passed by, he was getting more and more covered with tattoos, and eventually, moved to ocean city maryland. There he continued to get tattooed, and soon there after moved back home. He got a job as an archaeologist with no education. It wasn’t what he wanted to do, so he eventually left that too. During this hard times, CW asked him if he wanted to learn to tattoo and the rest is history.

Dusty sums it up best, “ Occasionally we still look at each other and say ‘who would’ve known?’.  Probably the hardest thing i have ever decided to do but this definitely where i am supposed to be.  thanks to the universe and a ton of help from some very awesome people.  all this is still very new to me my journey is just beginning but so far it is awesome.  i consider tattooing to be similar to a blacksmith from the 1800\’s – a lost art.  i have surrounded myself with like minded people with the same hopes and goals and we are cutting through time and space.  i am very lucky for such an amazing opportunity and i will spend the rest of my life making the most of it.  trying to keep traditional tattooing alive and giving respect and honor to the ones before us.”
