Paul was born and raised in Mobile, Al and was influenced by art at a young age when he showed interest to his next door neighbor who was a sign artist/painter. Eventually, he bought Paul an airbrush kit for his birthday, due to his interest in art. Some years passed and Paul joined the U.S. Marine Corps to find himself. After the Corps, Paul decided to get back into art, and started tattooing. Through his trials and tribulations, and influence from his tattooist/friends in New York, Paul found himself at a place that he could call home, Royal Street Tattoo. Paul had been tattooing for 6 years when he realized that Royal St. was where he needed to be. Shutting down his own studio to be a part of the Royal Street Family was what he had to do to grow. “Every Artist contributes to every Artist Growth”, and Paul will forever be indebted to C.W. and Royal Street Tattoo, for this is where he feels that he truly learned to tattoo.
